Founding member of the firm. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on June 26 of 1968. Speaks Spanish and English. Attorney Shefer has a combined legal experience of more than 15 years including her practice as a Civil Attorney in her native country, Colombia since 1995. In addition, Attorney Shefer has represented numerous clients in her Civil and Immigration practices in the United States for almost 10 years. Attorney Shefer’s civil practice includes complex divorce, parental rights and adoption litigation as well as representing clients in automobile and slip and fall accidents obtaining six digit settlements for her injured clients. Attorney Shefer’s Immigration practice includes complex visa applications for managers, executives, skilled workers, professionals and investors as well as family petitions and complex deportation defense.

- During her academic training, Attorney Shefer was rewarded in several occasions with the academic prizes of “Dean’s List” and “Book Award”, as the best student in the courses of Contracts, Estate Planning and Trusts. Attorney Shefer was also an active member of the Immigration Clinic at St. Thomas University in Miami, where she assisted a variety of clients in different areas of immigration.
